Product Overview
Need to measure movement underwater? Our subsea linear position sensor can do just this. Our standard model is 500 mm long, and we can adjust size down to 50 mm or larger to over 1 meter if needed.
Units have positional linearity error of < .06% and accuracy of .05 mm and resolution of .01 mm.
All units feature RS-232 and RS-485 interfaces. They can also produce a scalable 0-10 V output, and have two software-definable limit switch outputs.
Units are rated down to 4,000 meters. and operate over a wide DC operating voltage 12-48 V.

Testing & Verification
All units have an end-of-line Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) performed on them before they leave our facility.
Each unit comes with a record of calibration and test for traceability. If extended subsea environmental testing is needed please contact 2G for a quotation.

The Linear Position Sensor's contactless, non-wearing position sensor provides down to < 0.001" resolution for unrivaled positioning precision.
40"
A generous 40" total stroke length allows for ample inward and outward movement patterns, which can be controlled via the software management system.
IP69K
The Linear Position Sensor meets the IP69K rating to provide total protection from water and dust ingress and steam-jet cleaning, as well as many other subsea conditions.
